OpenSFDR
First Steps

Subscription & plans

Understand what's included for free and when you might need a paid plan.

Free by default

OpenSFDR is free to use for core functionality. You can create your account, set up your tenant, invite users, connect with other organizations, and manage your ESG data — all at no cost.

When do you need a paid plan?

Paid plans are available for advanced use cases that go beyond basic data management:

  • Pre-investment screening — If you want to use OpenSFDR to screen potential investments against your ESG criteria before committing capital.
  • SFDR reporting — If you need to generate final, compliance-ready SFDR disclosure reports for your financial products.
  • Increased AI usage — If you use the AI agent interface heavily and need higher usage limits.

Most users start with the free tier to set up their data and explore the platform. Paid features become relevant once you're ready to screen investments or produce final reports.

Managing your subscription

You can view and manage your subscription in the Subscription section of your tenant.

The Subscription section

From here you can see your current plan, review usage, and upgrade or adjust your subscription as needed.
